Welcome to “The Essence of Peaceful Petals” Blossom by Being launched this ministry on June 11, 2024 under the leaders Sister Portia and Sister Akliah. They are graduates of our “Journey Through the Heart of God mentorship program” class 2024 under Blossom by Being.
This support group is for women that are grieving loss. Our ministry is built on Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Our theme flower for this ministry is the “Lotus Flower.” The Lotus Flower symbolizes resilience and strength, as it can thrive and bloom even in the most trying conditions. Reflecting on this ability can serve as an encouragement for personal development and confronting adversity.
Lotus flower is one of the most beautiful and mysterious flowers in the world. For thousands of years, it has been used as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, and rebirth in various cultures. The lotus flower grows in muddy water, yet it blooms into a beautiful flower, which is why it symbolizes purity and enlightenment.
Like the Lotus Flower, we believe every woman that joins us is resilient and with the power of the Word of God, and community they will be able to bloom beautifully through what they might call “muddy waters.”
